Mac’s to the beach collection came out in May of this year, but I just now have gotten around to wearing it all. Starting in June I was wearing the bronzer and gold shadow but that was it until I was able to get a little be more color in me. Sometimes with very pale skin bronzer can take on a funny look if its not applied correctly- macs bronzer powder goes on really smooth and clean and looks fantastic. The collection itself is very peachy, corally, gold, and shiny- very pretty on tan and beach kissed skin tones. There are actually 31 pieces to the collection so there is a lot to try and experience with.
There is an entire bronzing kit with the collection so if you one to shy away from the sun completely (which I have been known to do) then there is a ton of stuff to use that will make you look like you spent the entire day at the beach without actually destroying your skin! Another option that works well with this summer and with the collection is a nice self tanner for your body and the bronzer on the face for the complete look.
Most of the colors in the collection are fairly neutral and very wearable for both day and night with a just a couple of the products in bold bright colors. I am not super fond of the bright peachy coral- I have fair skin and I think it is a bit much for the daytime, but its fun to play with at night when you are planning an evening under the stars. I have not tried the matching nail color- I must admit I kinda freaked a bit when I saw it, but then again in the video Elle F. did- it looks really nice. Check it all out below.
